Aref Rifai Foundation President

Dr. Faysal Rifai, DO, is a board-certified in internal medicine deeply committed to providing high-quality, efficient, and evidence-based patient care. Since joining AdventHealth Winter Garden with the Mid-Florida Hospital Specialist Group, Dr. Rifai received the Best Service Standard Award in Hospital Medicine in 2022 for his outstanding contributions to patient care and hospital excellence.

Dr. Rifai was raised in Pensacola, FL. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa before completing his medical degree at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, AL. He then completed his residency at UCF HCA Ocala, where he was recognized with the prestigious Resident Teaching Award. During this time, Dr. Rifai developed a strong passion for teaching and found fulfillment in helping guide younger residents toward becoming well-rounded, compassionate physicians.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Rifai has taken on the role of regional medical director for multiple AdventHealth locations, working closely with the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM). He mentors third and fourth year medical students, fostering their development into future physicians. His passion for teaching and community involvement drives his ongoing contributions to the Orlando medical community, ensuring that the next generation of physicians is well prepared for success.
